Two weeks of swimming lessons, and she is happily bobbing her head in and out of the water and almost floating! I can totally sense that she is on the verge of letting herself go - and I really think it will happen soon. Katie, on the other hand, seems to have a real affinity for water, and is getting her own private swim lessons on the side, in the baby pool, as we wait the 40 minutes every morning for Amy' s lesson.
Life in our kitchen is getting crazier by the minute! Katie carries her chair with her constantly, and is pretty much glued to my side, dipping her little fingers into this and that, while we (Amy and I) make dinner. Pouring water with cups and spoons will keep Katie occupied for a while, but somehow she still managed to move her chair over to the phone area, grab the mail that still needed to go out and rip up the Dish network bill. At least this crazy mami is going to get 12 hours of thinking time at work tonight, doing my work and my CEU's, while Friday night is when the BMT knitters meet (after midnight assessments and documentation, of course). Knitting is great for the brain, and we are out to convert as many as possible!
