About Me
- unofficially, Chapulina.
- Married to my dh since 2000,the funniest, smartest and most handsome technocrat I know. Home educating our two blessings - CuCu and Roo Roo - using the classical method of learning and The Well-trained Mind (Wise Bauer) as a guide to choosing curriculum and resources. When I'm not teaching, I'm working part time as an oncology nurse (and trying to get caught up on those darn CEU'S!), expanding our bird and butterfly garden and our newly-installed-but-not-very-pretty-yet kitchen garden, reading whenever I can, trying to master knitting the cable stitch and just generally trying to get smarter about things like blogging, cameras, memory chips and sticks, mobile blogging, etc.
"My children! My darling, precious children! What I want them to become I must become myself."
