More Blends and Digraphs

We are working our way through the OPGTR phonics book and this section on blends and digraphs seems unending, although fairly simple to understand. Amy is soaking it up like a sponge and has no trouble re-explaining it all back to Alfredo in answer to the "what did you learn today?" question. Considering upping her reading to two books a day... depending if the seat can endure..we will try. Other triumphs from this week: she knows her address and phone number and she is now consistently holding her pencil correctly - Hurrah!! Her reading is becoming more and more fluent - this is exciting to watch; I'm even noticing her reading to herself during afternoon free-time.
